No sooner had Tony’s Tours: Xmas 2015 concluded (and I know still to post the rest) when a new chapter began with the arrival of my dear Singapore friend, Mr Dan Koh. I first meet Dan in 2012 and we have remained good friends ever since. Dan is the first of my Singapore friends who has come to stay with me in Adelaide. Part of the fun of this Tony’s Tours will be showing Dan some of the highlights of Adelaide and the region, as well as hopefully the Limestone Coast and the Great Ocean Road to see ‘The Twelve Apostles’.

Dan arrived on 2 Jan after a flight that had been delayed 5 hours in Darwin – yes – 5 hrs. Nothing had been planned for the evening except eating and chatting and catching up etc – and we did.

Sunday 3 Jan – Show Ground Markets / South Australian Art Gallery

We began the day by going to ‘Growers Market’ at the Adelaide Show Ground. This has become a regular weekly occurrence, where one can easily buy ones groceries for the week – and the food is so deliciously fresh!

After this we went to the South Australian Art Gallery. This is truly an excellent art gallery. The following only giving a glimpse at the range and diversity of the collection.
